Hey there fellow fashion lovers in Chicago!
I was reading a magazine that keeps me up to date with everything that is happening in Chicago from fashion events, social escapades, and everything in the Arts. Then it dawned on me...I know about this magazine, but does everyone else? In case you're wondering, I'm talking about CS Magazine. You can pick it up for free at any Starbucks in the Downtown Area. They also are located in those stands where you can purchase newspapers. And the best part about CS...IT'S FREE!
CS gives you the details for all of the trendiest fashion events, and it is often where I get my info from to inform you guys. So pickup a copy to keep your fingers on the pulse of the new trends, store openings, events, and must know people in the Chicago fashion scene.
ENJOY!
Rain Boots...well okay, it's not a new trend. Like many of you, I thought it was going to be a fad. But it's a bonafide trend. Rain boots are everywhere from stores like TJMaxx to Bloomingdale's, from designers like Target brand Xhilaration to mid-price Hunter to upscale Burberry and Marc Jacobs. With this Chicago weather, we will probably need them longer than we expect. They are sensible, trendy, and weather friendly. Pick up a pair to keep your feet dry.
You'll be pleased to know that Akira is back in the Watertower Place, it took the place of Mango (now closed). It's located on the 4th floor next to Godiva. The space is revamped, chic and colorful. So now when you're looking for something to wear for a night out on the town you have another option in the Watertower Place. Stop by and help christen the new store...ENJOY!
